How did this ticker writer get through J-School without learning scripture? As the good book says:

"Use figures with million ...: The nation has 1 million citizens."

And:

"Note that a hyphen is not used to join the figures and the word million."

As for the M, yes. If I wanted to doing a bunch of reading, I wouldn't be watching TV.
